Bethany of the Northwest Foundation
Purpose
Bethany of the Northwest Foundation was created in 1989 to develop financial support for Bethany of the Northwest and increase understanding of Bethany’s unique care giving role in the community.
Both Bethany of the Northwest and Bethany of the Northwest Foundation are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Gifts to Bethany through the Foundation:
- Provide for essential, non-medical needs of residents when personal resources or Medicaid will not cover the cost;
- Help Bethany continue a commitment to make each facility as home-line and comfortable as possible for our residents.
- Assist in developing and supporting new services for residents and the community (including Computer Centers with internet access for residents, a Senior Homeowners Assistance Program, and nursing assistant training).
- Provide education for residents, family and the community on issues common to aging, disabilities and rehabilitation;
- Provide an opportunity to endow the services of Bethany of the Northwest into the foreseeable future.
